Day 1 : : From Cairo to Farafra Oasis

Drive from Cairo via Bahariya Oasis (360 km) by minibus, lunch break on the way (at local restaurant). Continue drive to Badawiya hotel at Farafra, check in and rest, short walk around Farafra town, back to hotel for dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 2 : : At the White desert

After breakfast we drive to the white desert where we ride camels to the White House. We will pass the famous Mushrooms, limestone sculptures in the White Desert lunch. After an unforgettable ride to Ein Khodrah, drive back to the hotel. back to hotel and enjoy the stew cooked by open fire and sleep under the stars at the hotel tents area

Day 3 : : The White desert

After breakfast we go tostart riding to from Geibal Qnna to Wadi El Obaiyed. We spend the day enjoying the impressive landscape of the White Desert (approx. 25 km), lunch, continue riding and back to hotel , dinner and night at the hotel (may we enjoy the camp fire tea drink with folklore music)

Day 4 : : Back to Om Al-Dunia

After breakfast we say good-bye to the camels and get into the minibus. We take a little break at the Crystal Mountain, and then we proceed and have our lunch at local restaurant. We continue and take another little break at the Black Desert. Arrive at Cairo before sunset.

Is it safe for women to travel alone?

It has never been a problem, however you have to put up sometimes with annoying verbal harassment and this happens to egyptian women as well. The best thing is to ignore and go on. It can sometimes get really irritating but reacting does not work. There is nothing forbidden in egypt. You do not need to cover up or anything of the sort, yet to avoid drawing unnecessary attention to yourself, do please cover your shoulders and cleavage and do not wear shorts. It is just a matter of feeling comfortable and fitting in. Best footwear are sneakers as there is a lot of walking and it is dusty and sometimes the streets are in poor condition and dirty.
