Day 1 : : Travel to Farafra

Drive from Cairo City to Bahariya Oasis by minibus, lunch break on the way at a local restaurant. The jeeps will wait for us on the main road beside Akabat asphalt. We start our trip by driving to Akabat Guwani, back to hotel in Farafra , check-in where we have dinner .

Day 2 : : At the White desert

After breakfast, drive to the White House. We will pass the famous Mushrooms, limestone sculptures in the White Desert. Picnic Lunch at the white desert, back to hotel, dinner and enjoy the Bedouin folklore music

Day 3 : : Back to Cairo

After breakfast, and we will get into the minibus for the drive back to Cairo City. We will take a little break at the Crystal Mountain and the Black Desert, and then we proceed and have our lunch at local restaurant in Bahariya Oasis. Continue driving towards Cairo City, arrival before sunset.

Is it safe for women to travel alone?

It has never been a problem, however you have to put up sometimes with annoying verbal harassment and this happens to egyptian women as well. The best thing is to ignore and go on. It can sometimes get really irritating but reacting does not work. There is nothing forbidden in egypt. You do not need to cover up or anything of the sort, yet to avoid drawing unnecessary attention to yourself, do please cover your shoulders and cleavage and do not wear shorts. It is just a matter of feeling comfortable and fitting in. Best footwear are sneakers as there is a lot of walking and it is dusty and sometimes the streets are in poor condition and dirty.
