Day 1 : : From Cairo to Farafra Oasis

Drive from Cairo via Bahariya Oasis (360 km) by minibus, lunch break on the way (at local restaurant). We meet the camels on the main road beside Gebel Gunna (20 km from the Farafra Oasis/Gharb = West). After getting acquainted with handling and riding the camels, we ride to Barani where we will meet our jeeps and drive to Badawiya hotel, check in at the hotel have dinner and spend the night

Day 2 : : At the white desert

After breakfast we ride to meet our camels at the White House. We will pass the famous Mushrooms, an impressive part of the White Desert, lunch. After an unforgettable sunset, back to hotel and enjoy the stew cooked by open fire and sleep under the stars at the hotel tents area (approx. 30 km

Day 3 : : Back to Cairo

After breakfast we ride to meet the camels for a short ride to the main road beside Bir Regwa where we say good-bye to the camels and get into the minibus for our trip back to Cairo. We take a little break at the Crystal Mountain, and then we proceed and have our lunch at local restaurant. We continue and take another little break at the Black Desert. Arrive at Cairo before sunset.

What will I do for meals?

Food is a great way to learn more about a destination. We try to keep meals flexible wherever possible; we include Bed & Breakfast accommodation rather than half or full board. This way you have flexibility to eat where and when you want, and to explore the culture and Egyptian cuisine.
