Badawiya Dakhla Hotel is a traditional mud brick building that opened in October 2008. The hotel offers 50 rooms and is situated in Dakhla Oasis in the desert of Egypt.
The Badawiya Dakhla Hotel rooms all have comfortable living- and sleeping areas, private bathrooms, satellite TV, telephone lines, and individually controlled air-conditioning. For families or groups of friends, some inter-leading rooms are available.
The reception area of the Badawiya Dakhla Hotel offers comfortable seating and beautiful light fixtures. There is an additional sitting room just off the reception area. The exterior is designed to be in harmony with the surrounding landscape, however, the mud-colored domes give no hint of the comfort that lies within.
The restaurant has a terrace that provides the ideal place to enjoy your meal or just have a snack and take in the view. Shade is available under the parasols or, if you prefer, you can work on your tan sitting in the sun. The restaurant itself provides lavish, well-cooked food with organic vegetables from our gardens.
The pool area boasts the best view in the whole hotel. Guests look down on the lush green beauty of the Dakhla Oasis farmlands below and the mountain escarpment. This is the perfect place to watch the sunset while relaxing with a cool drink. The personable staff will be happy to serve you snacks and drinks around the pool. This is an oasis within an oasis and it offers the utmost in relaxation.
Rooms
The rooms at the Badawiya Dakhla Hotel are a mixture of sophisticated comfort and Bedouin charm. The cool, clean lines are warmed by splashes of color from cushions, traditional rugs, and specially commissioned light fixtures. Soft blankets and crisp cotton sheets ensure a good night’s sleep. Light, bright, and airy, all rooms have a great view over the oasis. The bathrooms are modern and have spacious shower areas.
A minibar in each room is stocked with water and soft drinks. Each room provides wireless internet access at an additional charge.
Multi-Function Room
Immediately upon entry the high, vaulted ceiling of the light, bright spacious function room at the Badawiya Dakhla Hotel draws your attention. Here again, the unusual, hand-made light fixtures are an interesting feature. The room can be fitted with all sorts of audio-visual equipment for conferences and meetings. It is also the perfect space for celebrations, family reunions, weddings, parties, art classes, yoga, and other activities and courses.

Some days there are buffets and some days there is table service. Vegetarians can easily be catered for.
